LM- Mogadishu- The president of the Federal Republic of Somalia Prof. Hassan Sheikh Mohadud received credentials from new Ambassadors to Somalia.
In a formal ceremony held at the Presidential Palace Sunday, President Hassan received credentials from newly appointed ambassadors representing various countries. The event was marked with diplomatic protocol and highlighted the continuation of international relations and cooperation.
The president received credentials from new ambassadors of India, Japan, the Czech Republic, and the Arab League appointed to Somalia, namely; Ms. Namgya Choden, Mr. Okaniwa Ken, Miroslav Kosek, and Mr. Abdullahi Mutlaq Al Otabi.
The President of the Republic and the Ambassadors discussed the strengthening of diplomatic relations and cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and their Governments, and noted the importance of strengthening the support of the Government of Somalia and its people, to achieve success in building a government and developing the country.
The ambassadors, dressed in their respective national attires, presented their credentials to the President, signifying their official recognition as diplomatic representatives of their respective countries. The ceremony served as an opportunity for the ambassadors to convey their governments’ greetings and well wishes to the President and their commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations.
