By Mogadishu, 1 January 2024- Former Mayor and Governor of Banadir regional Administration Mr. Thabit Abdi has strongly spoken about the MoU signed in Addis-Ababa by Ethiopian Primer Minister with Somaliland President Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi.
Mr. Thabit said that it is a huge violation against Somalia. “The independence, values , and wealth of the Somali nation is a red line that I cannot show to anyone.”
“Ethiopia’s greed will always be a squirrel alarm. Somalia belongs to Somalis. The memorandum of understanding signed by Ethiopia with President Muse Bihi is a violation of African and international laws, and it is a provocation by Ethiopia with Somalia but will be disappointed.”
Mr. Thabit, former Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of Banadir Regional Administration posted this speech on his Facebook account.
