By LM-Mogadishu, 05 January 2024- The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E ProfHassan Sheikh Mohamud spoke on the phone on Friday night with the Vice President of the European Union and the Head of Political and Security Affairs, Mr. Josep Borrell.
The president thanked the European Union for its strong position in supporting the unity and independence of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The President noted the importance of regional and continental organizations to strengthen the stability of the Horn of Africa which is central to international peace.
Somalia’s President Mr. Hassan is committed to enhancing diplomatic cooperation with international communities based on mutual interest and respect.
