A Communique of the Djibouti Conference on the talks between FGS and Somaliland

Leadership Magazine, Djibouti- Starting from the acceleration of the dialogue process between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Government of Somaliland, two delegations led by the President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the President of Somaliland Md. Muse Bihi Abdl and the President of the Republic of Djibouti Md. Ismail Omar Geelle.

After a long discussion and discussion, both sides reached the terms

following;

1. To restart the process of talks between the two sides, focusing on the issues of destiny to reach a lasting solution

2. That the two parties within 30 days put together a process (Roadmap) for discussions on fateful issues and appoint technical committees to facilitate these issues.

3. That the two parties jointly implement the agreements reached in the talks between the two parties; Ankara (April 2012), London (June 2012), Ankara (April 2013), Istanbul (July 2013), Istanbul (January 2014), Djibouti (December 2014), Istanbul (March 2015), Ankara (April 2016) and Djibouti ( June 2020).

4. That the recognition of the Somali government for the killings, atrocities, and destruction caused by the military government in Somaliland (Northern regions) should be strengthened.

5. That the two sides have full cooperation in the areas of security, and fighting organized crime by having full communication with the responsible agencies.

6. To bring peace and stability to the places and regions where conflicts exist, and stop them through our traditional Somali culture.

7. That both parties should refrain from speaking, writing, and anything that harms the atmosphere of ongoing discussions.

8. The two delegations led by the two presidents of the Government of Somaliland and the Federal Government of Somalia express their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Djibouti, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, the government, and the people of Djibouti for inviting, welcoming and hosting the meetings. both sides. And they are urging the president to continue to do so.
