By Doha (LM) The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Elmi Ibrahim, held a productive meeting today with his Qatari counterpart Mr. Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri, in Doha. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of labor and social affairs, with the aim of improving the lives of citizens in both countries.
During the meeting, Minister Mohamed Elmi Ibrahim and his Qatari counterpart engaged in constructive discussions on a wide range of topics related to labor and social welfare. They explored avenues for collaboration in areas such as employment generation, vocational training, social protection, and labor rights.
Both ministers expressed their commitment to fostering closer ties between Somalia and Qatar in order to enhance the well-being of their respective populations.
