Mr. Hassan held a constructive meeting today with the European Union (EU) Special Envoy to East Africa, Mrs. Annette Weber to discuss the current regional situation and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation. The meeting, characterized by open dialogue and a shared commitment to regional stability and development, marks an important step towards strengthening the partnership between Somalia and the EU.
During the discussions, President Mohamud and Special Envoy Weber exchanged views on a wide range of issues affecting East Africa, including political developments, security challenges, economic opportunities, and regional integration efforts. They emphasized the need for continued collaboration to address common challenges and leverage shared opportunities for the benefit of the people in the region.
