Kampala (LM) The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Fardowso Mohamed Qanyare, has officially transmitted a copy of her diplomatic credentials to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda, Hon. Okello Henry Oryem. This significant gesture took place during a brief meeting at the headquarters of Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing the relationship between Somalia and Uganda. Ambassador Qanyare emphasized her commitment to fostering stronger ties between the two nations. “I am dedicated to working towards strengthening the relationship between Somalia and Uganda,” she stated. “I also want to express my gratitude to the Ugandan government for its unwavering support of the Federal Government of Somalia.”
The long-standing relationship between Somalia and Uganda has been characterized by mutual cooperation and support, reflecting the shared interests and cultural ties between the two peoples.
