By Mogadishu, February 22, 2024: The Speaker of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Noor (Madobobe) chaired the 14th meeting of the Permanent Committee of the People’s Assembly.
The chairman of the Federal Parliament of Somalia shared with the members of the committee about the general situation of the country, especially the defense issues, and standing up for the protection of the independence and sovereignty of the country, praising the members of both houses for their continuous efforts. The Chairman also informed the committee about the completion of the debate on the review of the KMG Constitution which concluded the first chapter and the beginning of the second chapter of the revision of the Constitution.

After the meeting, the members of the Standing Committee discussed checking the weekly agendas such as bills, legislative proposals and other important agendas before the session of the People’s Assembly.
