By December 27, 2023-Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Dr. Ali Haji Adam inducted the event to publicize the results of HIV AIDS research in Somalia.
The event was attended by MPs from the Federal Parliament of Somalia, directors, senior members from other government agencies, doctors, researchers, members of organizations working in Somalia that support health, and other dignitaries.
The research event which will last for two days was presented on the first day with various studies prepared on the prevalence and rate of HIV AIDs as well as Hepatitis B virus HBV and Syphilis. Syphilis) is one of the diseases that many sections of our society are struggling with.
All the studies indicated that there is a need to reduce the risk of the spread of diseases prepared from the various studies that were presented at the event, and this year’s studies have included many sections that were not previously included in the various studies that were previously presented. It was also pointed out that the disease of HIV AIDS and other diseases presented in the research must be fought hard to be completely eradicated.
