By December 26, 2023- The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia particularly its Department of Family Health has opened a training course for doctors from 17 private medical centers.
This training, which is the second one conducted by the Ministry of Health this year for private health centers, is part of improving the knowledge of health workers who work in the rehabilitation of mothers and babies.
The training also introduces the importance of maternal health and the process of raising children, and the areas discussed include strengthening the relationship between the Ministry of Health and Private Hospitals.
The training, which will last for 12 days, was inaugurated by the Director of the Family Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Mustafa Awil Jama.
